FLIGHTS
The best way to get to San Miguel de Allende is by flying into Querétaro International Airport (QRO).
Most of you will have a non-direct flight with one layover. However, there are some direct flights from the following locations (a few in the US and several in Mexico should you decide to explore before or after).
We highly recommend flying first thing in the am if coming from your home city (5am - 9am) to maximize your travel day, arriving before evening. Estimated travel times from main hubs are as follows:
LAX to QRO: ~6.5hrs - 7.5hrs (best flights)
NYC to QRO: ~7hrs - 8hrs (best flights)
SFO to to QRO: ~6.5hrs - 7.5hrs (best flights)
Once you’ve landed at QRO, there are several car services that can take you on the 1hr 20min journey to San Miguel de Allende. See the next section below for details.
Mexico City Travel
If spending time in Mexico City or you would like to fly into Mexico City before traveling to San Miguel/QRO there are quick direct flights ~1hr or it’s a 3.5hr drive from Mexico City to San Miguel, either by bus or private transportation.
Important Note: Formula 1 Mexico City Race is October 24 - 26th so we recommend booking your flights sooner than later.

If you want help arranging transportation from or to the airport please reach out to Kaky Daniel (kaky@kakydaniel.com) our wedding planner. She, along with a trusted and safe transportation vendor will organize shuttles to and from the airport on our guest's behalf. The organization of transportation is no charge, you will just pay for the actual car service.

After collecting all guest's flight information, Kaky will create an arrival and departure compilation and will group guests together on shuttles depending on flight arrival/departure times, terminals, and airports. The final amount each guest will pay for their shuttle will depend on the number of guests traveling in the same shuttle. Said another way, you will split the cost of your shuttle with other guests whom you share your shuttle with. Please note, each shuttle can carry up to 8 people. Kaky will do her best to make the round-trip cost as affordable as possible for each guest.

There are several car services that can take you on the 1hr 20min journey to San Miguel de Allende from QRO Airport. Please see some options below:
Ps. If spending time in Mexico City before traveling to San Miguel and you have some time, there is an affordable 3.5hr bus that will drop you right in the city center of San Miguel. From there it is a quick 10 min uber / taxi to Habitas.
